Cannot autorun

I am using winXP pro. Everytime i put a cd in the cd-rom
drive but it cannot autorun. How to enable the autorun.

1. Open Regedit
2. Browse to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\CDROM
then find AutoRun and change value to 1.
