MS Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer stopped working! Help!

[Infamous PB]

I was just typing a letter in MS Word and all of a sudden
my MS Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer Mouse stopped
working. I tried rebooting. Didnt fix it. I tried
changing the batteries. Didnt fix it. I tried
unplugging it and plugging it into another USB slot.
Didnt work. When I pick it up, I see the red light
flashing. Its just that the cursor wont move at all.
Can anyone help? If you have any ideas, please email me

Have you tried the mouse on another computer?
You make sure that the receiver and the mouse are 'sync' to the same
channel?
