I have bought a PCI 2S1P Controller Card which has 2
serial com ports and a parallel port. I installed this
with the correct drivers and restarted the PC and it
seems that all of com ports are working fine in the
device manager because they have no conflicts. Com 3 and
Com 4 are displayed. However when I try to connect a
device onto it such as a modem or a handheld device I,
Windows cannot detect these devices on Com 3 and Com 4,
but it does detect them on com 1 and com 2. When I try to
connect com 3 or 4 to another computers com ports using
hyperterminal the data entered does not syncronise on
either computers. Any ideas on how to get these comports
working properly???
