I installed a new motherboard in my computer and the Hard
drive has WinXP Pro on it, booted up but windows will not
start even in safe modes! i put the old motheboard back
in and it loads windows fine. Do i need to uninstall all
the hardware first before i put in the new motherboard?
Or what. I'v tried almost everything and cant get it to
work with the new mobo. Please Help Me!

You must do a reinstall of Windows so the information on the
hard drive is correct for the new motherboard, which may be
of a different manufacture, chipset, CPU and even memory.

These are the instructions...
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q315341&ID=KB;EN-US;Q315341

You will reactivate, if it has been more than 120 since your
previous activation, it will do so on-line, if less time,
you'll be prompted to make a 800 phone call.

It is often a good idea to remove printers, add-in cards and
such when installing so the OS can get the basics done, then
add those devices back one at a time so IF there are
problems you know which device is causing the problem.
