I have this problem where i keep getting lines running
down my monitor, then about every 15 seconds my screen
freezes, my monitor turns off, and then turns itself back
on.

Most of the time it will only turn back on if I press
ALT+TAB.

I've tried reinstalling my video card drivers, but to no
avail. Anyone have any ideas as to whats going on
here??!!?

I would personally suspect the graphics card! Or a bad cable connection
between card and monitor.
