Canon multipass driver installation

If you upgraded to xp from ME,did you install cannon in
ME before the upgrade,if so you have to reinstall xp
w/o cannon.When does the error message appear,install-
ation of canon software? You might try switching to the
other old style cable for installation(not usb),then
switch back to usb at shutdown,if youre machine has that
type of hookup.
