My system is about 18 months old and runs on Microsoft
xp. So far, I have had few problems, but in the last few
days when I insert a floppy disc I get the screen
message 'Please insert a disc into drive A'. I have run
a diagnostic on xP and my device manager tells me that my
floppy drive is connected and working. I have checked
that there are no loose wires and that the driver is
appropriate. Apart from replacing the drive, can anyone
suggest a solution? Thank you.
