I am trying to use 2 different 1394 harddrives on two
different computers and all combinations have similar
problems.
Computer 1: Sony vaio desktop, XP Home
Computer 2: Compaq Evo N610C laptop, XP Professional w/
IOGear 1394 PC card
Hard drive 1: Maxtor 80GB
Hard drive 2: IOMega 120GB
Basically the symptom is that after transferring 10 to 20
MB, the drives lose connection. This happens when either
one or both of the drives is connected and it happens more
so on Computer #2.
