I got my Lyra mp3 player with USB to install once. My thinking is that if it
worked once, it should work again. However, after I unplugged the USB cable,
the Removable Device in Windows Explorer would never reappear; it would only
show a red question mark when the USB cable was reinserted.

Has anybody gotten their RCA Lyra to work well with XP? Has anybody used the
Creative mp3 player without problems in XP?

Buy a USB card reader. It works better and faster than the Lyra. Just use
the USB driver from the Lyra website. I am using 2 128MB CF cards with my
lyra.
