Hello,

If you don't have any critical data files on the HD that
need to be saved, you can just format the HD and choose
NTFS for the file system when prompt. After you have
installed the HD, boot up your computer. In Explorer or My
Computer window, you should have the HD visible just right
click on it and choose format, then pick NTFS for the file
system. This will erase all your files and data on this HD
so make sure you save anything that you want to retain.
Good luck.
