XP boot (chkdsk) problems

Hi
I've recently reinstalled XP Pro (twice) and I have a
recurring chkdsk function on my Promise RAID setup. Every
time I restart the PC, XP checks the RAID array
for "consistency". The RAID is via a Fastrack 100 PCI
card and I've tried updating the drivers from Promise but
XP wont let me.
My old config was W2K on C: with XP on D: drive as a dual
boot. I have since reformated C: and installed XP pro as
stand alone.

Any clues??
