xp pro and internet connection

just upgraded from xp home to xp pro.
internet connection stopped working.
can't run Connection Wizard - doesnt do anything.
Can't start Remote Access Connection Service, get an error
message 'Access Denied'.
BT Openworld Broadband DSL connection was working fine
under XP Home. When upgraded lost all connection
details,username etc
Any ideas?
