I have just got a new system:
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2400+
Board: Gigabyte GA-7VA
Display Adapter: inno3D GeForce4 TI4200
my problem: I have ghosts on my display, they are
something like horizonal lines dancing on my screen.
anyone knows how this can be fixed?

Try getting the latest NVidia Drivers installed and see if this fixes your
ghost problems.
Download them from NVidias site and not MS's update site. Make sure to
disable all unnecessary programs and Antivirus before installing.
Uninstall the old driver let the system reboot and load it's generic driver.
Then do the above bofore installing the new driver. Once installed reboot
the system and see if it is fixed.
If you still have the same problem, then try another Monitor to rule out the
driver as a possible problem.
If you are still getting this ghost image with new monitor, it could be
possible that the Video card has bad memory chips. Have seen this on the
TI4200 cards. The company should replace it with out any problems.

Are you using an extension cable on your monitor cable to connect to the PC?
If so then it's probably degrading the signal causing the ghost images.
The same thing happened to me and once I attached the monitor cable directly
to the PC it was fine.
