I was watching a Baseball game on my PC and I thought I
would put a shortcut of the site on my dest top. A logo of
MLB.com appeared with no usefull purpose and I am not able
to delete it. Can you help?

Paul--

This MLB favicon should be stored in your TIFs and disappear when you delete
them, leaving the "e" shortcut in its place which would normally delete with
a right click delete or a shift+delete. If it doesn't, then try opening
Windows Explorer, select desktop, find that MLB icon and delete it from
there. That often works for a stubborn icon or folder clinging to your
desktop.
