Have just got windows update Q815021 and 811493. will they slow my computer
down.

The latest security updates, 815021 and 811493 (revised), are safe
to install. I installed both and eXPerienced no adverse performance
issues. I would suggest disabling your antivirus program before
proceeding.

No, Clayton. There is a new 811493 available for download. Read article
819634 at MS site. 811493 is now a good trouble free download.
