View Full Version : Logical Drives have disappeared!

Argh.... I had partitioned my 80 gig HD to 15 for C:, and
4 others: 2 at 10 gig, 2 at 22 each. Did this using MS
Computer Management. Rebooted the PC, and all was fine,
have had it running (and saving data) for a week+. Shut
down the PC today (normally leave it running all the
time), and, upon restarting, I have lost all logical
drives. It now shows as 1 large area of 'free space'.
Whadda I do? Whadda I did? Can I rescue these drive
structures with Partition Magic? I looked up the drives
in the registry (no, I did not edit anything in the
Registry, ever), and it reports as follows for all drives:

\??\Volume{aa85116c-8d0e-11d7-8f99-806d66172696f} Reg
Binary 57 2a 58 2a ......

As usual, I could care less about the drive, and the
structure, etal, it is the data that I care about. That
is all I want

Thanks
