I don't think XP is properly recognizing my sound card.
Under "Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices/Audio Tab", my M-Audio
Delta Audiophile 24/96 soundcard is not listed as an option. I
reloaded the newest sound card drivers but it still doesn't recognize
it. It does list the soundcard under the 'Hardware' tab, and says the
device is working properly and is enabled. I tried this with a
SoundBlaster 512, and same thing. Tried several different PCI slots
also.
This is very odd because I am getting sound out of the computer in all
but Sonic Foundry apps. IE I can play mp3s out of media player and
songs out of Logic.
This is really frustrating bc audio production is the main reason I
have a pc--any help much appreciated.
