December 7th 03, 09:44 AM
Hi there I have a problem with windows XP, every thing has
slowed down, using task manager I have found the system
idle process is using between 40 & 70 % of the processor
every couple of seconds. What canI do to fix this please.

This is normal--the idle process is what shows as active when the processor
is doing nothing.
