Cant download cannon digital camera software

sheild scripting runtime.

Not sure what to do, CANNON says to download upgraded
version of windows xp home, but i cant seem to find where
on this microsoft website to find that information.|

But exactly what Cannon (sic) digital camera is it?, und under what
circumstances to you you get the error message. Are you trying to install
bundled software, or drivers? I've had a similar error message, but it
related to Office XP. More info always helps, no info is as useless as teats
on a bull. My Canon PowerShot A200 works fine under XP Pro without the extra
software supplied by Canon. Also works nicely under Mandrake Linux 9.1 for
the cost of a download.
