Hi Ken

Short cut on the desktop?
Or short cut on the start menu?

......... Desktop : ............
In Windows explorer, go to directory of program or game
you want to start up.
Top right Icon (VIEWS) > Choose Details
Locate the application that starts the program/game up
Resize the window smaller that your viewing to see the
desktop behind it.
Holding "right" mouse button > drag the 1 startup file to
the desktop, let go > choose Create shortcut here.

A tip?
Look in windows explorer first in the desired directory
as explained for Desktop shortcut > Views > Details.
Maybe the game or program has a special Icon that can be
recognized easily for the Start menu shortcut below.

........... Start Menu : ................
Right click start menu, choose open.
Top left words ( FILE ) click it, choose new > folder.
Type a name for your folder ( game or program )
Now folder is visible in the window > Double click it to
open it.
Nothing is there yet, again > ( FILE ) choose new >
SHORTCUT.
Browse through directory to desired game/program you want
to open with your new shortcut.
Shortcut is an application or an EXE file that opens the
program.
You now will have an option of naming this shortcut or
leave it as it is.
Click finish.
START > All Programs
You will see your new folder above accessories most
likely, if not look down the list it will be there.

Mouse over folder > shortcut will be displayed

Hope this helps you Ken?
Good luck
Norm
