My LS120 Drive operated fine with Win 98 since I've updated to XP Pro
The hardware drive no longer functions,,,
Can't seem to located any driver (XP) updates for my LS120??
My Bios boot up screen does recognize it on my PC but still won't function..
Is this hardware now considered non useable??

Have 1 installed in my system, did nothing special. XP picked it right up as 98 did. No special
drivers just installed with default XP ones.

Does it show in the device manager? When you upgraded to XP
was the LS120 installed?

Suggest that removing it and doing a fresh install should
allow the fully installed XP OS to detect and install it.

Hello Tony,
I also have the problem you are having I "up"graded to wondows xp and that machine no longer is able to read disks. Even tho it shows in the device management as working properly and enabled. A new machine I have that I unfortuantly had to install a flop
py also does not read the floppy disks. Although if I remove it and install it in a 98 machine it works perfectly.

Pegasus, replied to another post of some one having problems -no wasnt any help- and posted a link to get a 98 bootdisk and run some test that wont really help us. Tho just might make them go hey you know all these people having problems just really might
have found a problem in our software like the hackers sending messages found a problem in our soft ware and the other 101 problems. Then perhaps we will get some help like the nt users got.
