xp installation

I am having trouble installing xp update. I am currently
using ME and when I try to install xp it will not let me
complete the key code number. The computer goes back to
what do you want to do. Install xp
Do I need a different cd?

Did you run the upgrade advisor yet? Am wondering if setup is detecting
something in the ME setup that needs to be uninstalled or disabled before it
will proceed.
