Hi,
I installed Xp on my PC - everything was fine till my son set up a user
account and gave a password that no-one knows - including him!.
Problem I have now is when I power up my PC, it goes straight to the
Username/password menu - so we can't get onto the machine.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can bypass this and get access
to my PC again.
Help.
Thanks for any advice

Hi,
At the logon screen, hit ctrl+alt+delete twice to bring up the Win2000 =
style log on. Then logon as administrator. You can either reset your =
son's account password or simply remove the account and create a new =
one.

In addition to Rick's advice, if you're running XP Home, you must boot the
computer into Safe Mode to access the Administrator account.
