Turn off hibernation and turn it back on--Control Panel|Power
Options|Hibernate. Apply changes after turning off.

Go to Power Options - Hibernation. Uncheck Enable Hibernation, and
Apply - which will delete the file. Then enable it again. Good idea to
defrag in between to be sure the new file is in one piece

It should not make any difference whether you defrag or not. The
hibernation file is written over part of the pagefile and the
remainder of the pagefile is created in a new location. By the way,
the hibernation file is recreated every time you hibernate so there
is no need to remake it. It does not exist until you hibernate the
first time.
