I was messing around in the "google" home page. I clicked on the "Google
Logo" and selected set as desktop icon. Now I have a google logo on my
desktop, which does absolutely nothing. Haw do I get rid of it? Thanks for
any help.

Right click on an empty area on your desktop -> select Properties -> goto
Desktop Tab and select 'None' from the Background list.
