In order to load Works Suite 2003, I need to deactivate
all background programs. I was told to do a clean boot,
go to msconfig, System Configuration Utility, General tab,
select General Tab , Selective Start up, and deactiviate
Process System file, process win file and Load Startup
items. The "Load Startup Items' keeps coming back after
each re-boot, if not a dark check, then a grey check. I
try to load the Works CD, but keep geting the message that
says I have to do a msconfig. How do I get "Load Startup
items" to stay unselected?
