I have a couple of ACPI laptops and basically the automatic fan control
SUCKS.

Is there any way to manually control the fans? IE if it's over 80 and the
laptop is in my lap I want the fan to run full speed all the time so it
doesn't burn my legs :-).

If it's sitting on a desk then maybe I'd let WinXP control the fans.
