renew hard drive

i have xp home edition and i want to upgrade to a larger
hard drive, can i do it or am i going to encounter
problems having already registered my copy of xp?

Go for it, you shouldn't have any problems as far as
activation goes, especially if you haven't made any other
hardware changes. At the most you'll have to phone
MS to activate by phone, but I doubt it.

Not if you know how to set master and slave setup and buy a hard drive from
a manufacture such as Maxtor or Western Digital. Maxtor has a wonderful
software to make it idiot proof.
