View Full Version : More USB Woes...

I've upgraded my motherboard and it has a USB 2
interface. I've installed XP Pro and SP1 and there I
cannot seem to get the enhanced drivers to load for my
high speed devices, they all show as Standard USB. When
I try to update the drivers the system doesn't find any
more current drivers than the standard.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Did you install the mobo drivers with the CD that came with
the new mobo (retail box) or have you downloaded the drivers
(for updates or whitebox OEM mobo)?

If so, delete the USB hub and ports and reboot, they should
be detected as new hardware and the USB 2.0 drivers
installed.

Most excellent suggestion! I deleted them, rebooted and
it all seems to work like a charm!

I feel dumb, but the best solutions are usually the
simplist. Thanks.
