Hello,

Running Windows XP Pro using HSP56 MR 56K internal modem.
When initializing ISP dialing, modem comes up with double
dialing sound, like an echo, at all the times. The only
way that found to get rid off is uninstalling and re-
installing. However, it only works once. When shutdown
the system for the day or rebooting, the double dialing
sound appears again. How can I fix this issue? Please
advice. Thanks.

Is that the modem that comes with the mother board. Had problems with it
both on speed and connecting with my daughter and replaced it with a PCI
modem and have had not problems and speed has increased.
