OS = Windows XP
Trying to install an Adaptec SCSI Card to use an Fugitsu
620C scanner. THe card can be located in device mannager
and is listed as working ploperly. The PC does not
located the scanner when plugged into the SCSI card. I
have been informed by Fugitsu's help line that I must re
assign the IRQ to the SCSI card to one below 15 for the
card to allow the scanner to function properly. I have
tried resetting the SCSI's IRQ in Net BIOS, but XP's IRQ
sharring feature re assigns the IRQ to 16 or 17 depending
on the slot after the PC boots.
Any Suggestions?
