Hello all. Still have trouble with my video card.
Currently I'm trying a tip emailed to me by a dude by the
name of "Blood Letter." So far it is proving futile. But I
have high hopes. Not really. Once again, I'm using a
GeForce 4 Ti4200 128MB APG graphics card that hates me. If
anyone has any other suggestions, I woud most certainly
enjoy them. Please!

Hello Alvin, so you say you want to take a gander at my
problem? Here's the f**king problem: I have recently
assembled a computer (which is probably why I'm having
problems). It works great except for the graphics card. I
cannot get Windows XP to boot up correctly with the card
enable in Device Manager(i.e. I'm always in Safe Mode).
None of the drivers seem to work. I went on the web and
downloaded a driver from the maker's web site. The new
driver was no improvement. So I have had to do all of my
other work with the card disabled. But, when the card is
enabled, my screen looks wonderful in "Enable VGA Mode"
from the Windows startup menu. Now, currently I am trying
a tip emailed to me yesterday. So if you don't mind,
Alvin, I'm going to go have a beer and proceed with my
attempts to get the graphics card working! If you have any
suggestions, Alvin, I would like to hear them. Thank
you...

Hello

Well for starters I do have a Geforce 4 card Nvidia chipset and
it is a TI4200 128ram on it. I am currently running win XP Pro
with all Svcpacks and the card works great.

When did your problem first start, or what caused the original
problem. Alsso have you by chance maybe tried a different video
card. And from what you say you have the most current driver
installed correct. Try removing all drivers reboot the pc, then
download the most current drivers from www.nvidia.com ok
