I just installed Windows XP and found recommendations for
upgrading my FAT32 system to NTFS. I understand I need to
convert rather than format as I already have files on the
disks...Apparently "setup" makes the conversion easy, but
I just can't find what to do. Could someone help please?

Hi,
The conversion itself is very easy, but I suggest you read this first:
http://aumha.org/win5/a/ntfscvt.htm
Essentially, open a command prompt (start/run cmd) and run "convert C: =
/fs:ntfs", then follow the prompts to schedule it to be done upon a =
system restart (you cannot dismount and convert the partition while the =
system is in use).

Thanks so much - the website you suggested I read first
was spot on - made the conversion a piece of cake.
Thanks again
Dave
