After moving from WIN 98 to XP I now have no sound. I
have checked all the hardware conflicts etc. When I
unplug and replug the speakers I can hear "connect"
sounds, but nothing after that.

There are no computer sounds or playback of CD's or DVD's.

I have a Soundblaster Live sound card that came on my
Gateway computer. It worked fine before the installation
of XP.

Any ideas?
