I had Win2k on a workstation with a liteon CDRW (WinXP
compatable), it was working fine. I installed WinXP from
the drive, and after the install the drive was gone! I
tried to reinstall, and the add hardware screen does not
even have a CD rom option under the hardware choices! It
will not detect even though it is P&P.
So far, brought down the system, restarted the system
without the CDRW installed, then reinstalled the CDRW.
Even that did not work! It shows in Bios, but when
scanning for new HW, the data light on the CDRW does not
even flash! HELP!!!
