I have a question that maybe someone can answer for me.
My mom has a printer - HP 1170Cse all in one office jet
printer, and I have the HP Office Jet Pro 1150C. We are
both having the same problem. When we used our printer
to scan a picture using the old operating system of
Windows 98, we had no problem scanning good pictures.
Now that we both have Windows XP, the quality of scanning
is not the same. Everything we scan is too dark. (For a
quick fix, my husband and I just used Adobe Photoshop
Elements to scan and work with document.) But, is there
something in XP that can be adjusted so we can scan
straight from the printer without using other special
software to scan properly?

Hello

HAve you tried going to www.hp.com and look for drivers
that support XP, make sure that you have the current driver for
it.
