Windows Popups

[Nailgn]

This may be a very old request by now, but how can I block
those annoying popup adds that my Windows XP system allows
through, as an integral and essential part of this
wonderful operating system.

I think I'll just switch back to Linux...

Do yourself a big favor. Purchase and install a good quality program,
such as Norton Internet Security, and your pop-up problems will cease.

After installing Norton Internet Security, my computer was a pleasure
to use once again. All the annoying Internet Explorer pop-up =

ceased as well as the flashy ads. Norton will also prevent web-based

Just activate the Windows XP Firewall or get a 3rd party one if you want the
added protection.
