I have created new user accounts for my Wife and two
children so they can have their own passwords etc.
Problem is once logged in, certain programmes just don't
work eg internet Explorer - do I really have to fiddle
with the registry to allow various programmes to work for
them or is there a more easier way?? If the former -
exactly how do i do it?? Rgds John

Once you have created an account then log into that account and right click start then click propeties and then the start menu tab\customize button and start clicking your way around to find what you want to add to the start menu. In order to access prog
rams they must be installed in the all users\programs folder. Right click the start again and then click open all users and you will see the program folder listed here. If it's a matter of the shortcut doesn't show then you can right click on any program i
n that folder and then choose create shortcut and drag and drop it to the desktop. Very few programs are not installed in the all users\program folders and most even have extra icons in that folder. Welcome to the eXPeriance. {:~)
