MONITOR Dies (blank) 2 doing same lost 1 computer so far

does anyone hav any ideas as to why a monitor will just go
blank at random (no particular time or program) and if you
turn of monitor power for just a second , then turn right
back on its fine....till next time...then same
proceedure....This is also happening with 2nd monitor ive
hoked up to it....and it all beggan with other computer,
went on like that for a few days and then one morning it
was just blank and never would retun so i hooked 2nd
monitor to it and got as far as the bios and out it went
never to return again...till i hooked to the 2nd computer
and now its starting all over with this
computer ...thought my monitors had gone but they seem
fine till they go black again and hav to shut off power
for second to get a picture again?????????????????????????

Open Display control panel, click on Screen Saver then Power button at
the bottom and change Turn off Monitor from 'Every 20 mins' to
'Never'.
