my xp system is not online...i have to down load new stuff
from work and carry it home to keep my home sys up to
date...i recently had some video problems and gateway told
me to update both my video driver and go up to directx 9
but i cant find directx 9 anywhere that just lets me
download it onto disk...any clues or help? thanx man

this site doesnt help it only downloads to online
systems...i need it exportable to carry home to my system
that is not online...any more help?

No.... you download it to the PC you have access to, and THEN COPY THE FILE
TO DISK.
The problem is, if it needs anything else, it will want to go on-line to get
it.
Same thing with the driver(s) you're after.
The person WAS trying to help.... don't be impolite because you didn't
comprehend their reply.
Step back and think about it.
