i have just upgraded to xp home and now my firewire wont
work, i have a pb ixtreme 9200 with a realtek network
card as well but now i cant get my camcorder to connect
to the pc via firewire

Go to PB's web site and download the XP chipset drivers for your PC and
install it.

thnx for the advice went away and did just that but it
still has the exclamation mark next to it in device
manager ...even after uninstalling the card then
restarting my pc...any additional help would be great

Load Device Manager, open the device in question, click Drivers, then
update drivers and let it search for the driver you installed.
