Why do have to pay $35 to install a microsoft product on
XP the product shows you are the manufature? why should I
have to pay to install previously purchased software on
XP that I had no problem installing with
windows95???????? Whats the deal ??????:????

I don't have any idea what you meant to say. What is $35, a
service fee being charged to you by a "repair shop or
technician" or is it the cost of some software? If you had
some software dating back to 1995 it would need an update to
run on XP if it used certain DOS hardware calls.
Try explaining exactly what your problem is, somebody can
answer just about everything except those that ask about how
prices are set, that would be a internal business practice.
MS, Inc. sets their wholesale prices. retailers set their
prices, maybe you should complain to your retailer.
