I can get data, pictures etc to the temporary area put ot
will not burn to the disc. Using xp home version. Opened
a new package of cd-r 80 mmin/700mb, still getting same
message that the dics is damaged.
Help please.

Long shot - I use a HP Pavilion. The W XP drag and drop method won't work
but HP Record Now works fine.
Have a good look through your programs and see if there is any alternative
CD Burning software.

Hi Peg,
Was this working before?
Check properties of the CDRW drive in Windows Explorer, make sure =
recording is enabled on the recording tab - if it came undone it can =
cause this error message.
