Hi,
I installed NAV2003 and did a scan for viruses - my
computer turn off with no error message or anything.
I restarted my computerNAV did not show any viruses.
has anyone run into the same problem?

The default action in XP is to reboot when a system error occurs. Might
have been coincedence, might have been the heavy IO from the scan
conflicting with some other running process. Check the application and
system logs in Event Viewer (Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event
Viewer) at around the time of the reboot to see if any errors are listed
in there.
To change the setting that tells XP to automatically reboot when a system
error occurs right click on the My Computer icon and select Properties.
Go to the Advanced tab and click the Settings button under Startup and
Recovery. Under System failure remove the check from "Automatically
restart."
