cannot find biosinfo.inf setup haults

When trying to reinstall XP from the CD, the computer
boots up, goes through the memory scan then gives me a
black screen and says that the biosinfo.inf file is
missing and setup cannot continue. Any fixes for this?

Kristen -
Are you installing on top of a previously flakey install? (To smooth over
errors you were having...)
Did you fully un-install the previous load?

Have you scoped out http://www.kellys-korner.com/ ? And, specifically...
