cannot access previous system drive

maybe a worn drive? id suggest putting the drive in on its
own and boot xp from cd rom go thru setup do not choose
repair choose normal setup it will detect that xp is on
the drive and instal xp over it dont worry your programs
etc stay intact ive done it before
