Too Darned Polite!

Each time I insert an audio CD into my computer, Windows XP tells me it can
"perform the same action each time.........". Despite selecting the 'Always
do the selected action' box, I still get the multiple choice box each time.
How can I make Media player simply play the thing? Same occurs with my
digital camera - I just want it to use the Fujifilm software (which is
highlighted in the list, in any case).

Any ideas?
