Log in as Administrator

I have a user account with Administrator abilities. I
have been contacting Creatives tech support and they have
sent me a patch to install. They say I must log in as the
Administrator and not a User with administrative abilities.

So, how to I log in as administrator. The only time I've
ever seen it as an option is when in Safe Mode.

At the welcome screen, press Ctl-Alt-Del twice and log in as
administrator.
