I have recently added an additional hdd into my pc and have noticed that my
hdd indicator is constantly on. Im not sure when this started happening but
Ive just recently noticed it.
I tried disconecting my additionall HDD but the light remains on. Im a
novice when it comes to hardware and am looking for any advice on how to
find out whats happening here

This usually means one of the IDE cables is connected backwards... match up
pin one to the correct pin (usually one wire has a red mark and the
connector has a little arrowhead, Usually they are keyed but some cheap
connectors leave it off ...
good luck

Terry, can you use the disk at all? If not it could be that the IDE cable is
connected the wrong way round
