windows update

i keep getting a note back on a critical update saying
that it did not download q817287 catalog database
corruption windows xp. it tries to download this everday
and when you go to look at the history of updates.
everything but this particluar file get downloaded.
please help if you can. thanks so much ! jack

install this update from the Windows Update Catalog: "How to Download
